The Devil's Throat...
... Iguacu Falls.
Today we took a very enjoyable trip into Argentina to see, at close quarters, some of the 270+ waterfalls on the Iguacu River, which forms the border with Brazil. (The Argentinian call them the Iguazu Falls)
The Devil's Throat is the highest at around 80+metres and the top can be viewed from a walkway above swirling mist. A steady queue of tourists follow the route through the forest and jostle to get their photographs taken at this spot, whilst getting rather wet.
That is why my shot was taken with the waterproof compact. The light was so bright that I could only vaguely see an outline to compose the shot. Fortunately the result was ok because I would not wish to fight my way back to the front of this particular mob again.
