When I'm Cleaning Windows

I was treated to a grand day out in Cambridge today - a pre-birthday trip!!

1. A saunter round the Botanical Gardens.

2. Delicious lunch at Browns - in a convertend wing of Addenbrooke's Hospital that was apparently where post mortems were performed and medical students watched.

3. A hilarious conversation with a traffic warden who tried to fob us off with the wrong directions. Turned out he was originally from South Africa, then lived in Australia, now living in Peterborough and new to the job in Cambridge - he didn't have a clue!!

4. Went to view an art gallery and met a woman I used to work with 10 years ago in St Alban's, now living in Devon and visiting her sister in Cambridge - it's a small world.

5. Re-met the traffic warden with his supervisor - so had to say what a great job he was doing!!

6. Tea and cake which is when we saw these two guys cleaning the glass roof of the shopping arcade.
