Server room

While passing by the server room at work today, I asked our IT administrator if I could take a picture and he readily agreed. I then said that I would take the photo of a server of his choice. He pointed out this one to me (featured in this photo) and explained that it was one of the most powerful and high-capacity data storage solutions in our server room. Each of the boxes in this cabinet (the photo only has 50% of the actual cabinet) can hold minimum 450 GB of data and some of them can even hold 1TB of data. This infrastructure supports some of our research projects and also our external-facing websites.
