In the Woods

With a showery forecast a woodland walk was very appealing, not too demanding but a chance to stretch out the leg muscles after the hiking of the past few days! The mature Beech and Oak trees gave us plenty of shelter from the rain, I loved this wind blown Oak with it's new shoots.
My flight from Manchester was delayed and I finally got home at 2.30am. It seemed like a very long drive to West Cork and not much sleep to be had as I've an early start for work!
