The new school strip...

The school under 16's were allowed to buy a new strip and they love it. It does look pretty cool .
A midweek match so the guys are shattered after a very physical game at the weekend, but this was a really strange match, as it was against their team mates.
"Glenzie" is the amalgamation of Allan Glens and Lenzie under 16 youth. The team was formed to keep youth rugby thriving in both clubs and because some of the boys go to Lenzie Academy and the others go to schools in Bishopbriggs they came up against each other in a school fixture.
It was a strange match to watch as we were supporting both sides and it was a great game played in the true spirit of rugby with friendly rivalry.
I was pleased though when Lenzie won, well done to all the guys in both sides.
