A date with destiny minus 365 days ....

Today was also one of my significant birthdays! We spent it with old friends on the island of Incholm having travelled to Dalmeny and South Queensferry by train. We enjoyed a champagne picnic and a tour of the abbey in brilliant sunshine before returning to the Haws Inn for afternoon tea and later, a delicious meal in a local Tapas Restaurant in Portobello.

My blip shows the Forth Bridges from the deck of The Maid of the Forth as we sailed east to Incholm around midday today.

Thank you to everyone who has helped to make today such a very special and memorable one - I am very appreciative indeed.
