Today we conquered egg-free sugar cookies. Alex took a bite of the finished product and said, in total amazement, "mom, they taste just like the other ones!" The 'other ones' he's referring to are ones with eggs which he has never had in his life. He then looks at me and said "you told me they wouldn't taste good." Ha! Totally caught. For 4 years now, I've been telling him an egg-free recipe wouldn't taste as good because I was too lazy to find one. I was wrong.
