time to say goodbye

today the cows from chris' farm were collected and taken to market where they will be sold tomorrow. it is hugely sad for everyone involved, particularly his boss - who has had the family run farm for over 30 years - and also chris - who has got up come rain or shine at 4.15am every day to milk them for the last 2 1/2 years.
