Another Dreich Day in Peebles

I certainly wouldn't have turned out today if it hadn't been for a shortage of coffee, so Tesco's it was. I had a pair of earings waiting to be collected from the jewelers so thought I would kill two birds as you say.
Couldn't get parked on the high st so landed in Station car park. Pouring with rain and then discover "Dearly Beloved" had tidied the boot of the car. What has he done with my Bl##dy umberella. Got Soaked!!!
Still it was worth it just to get my earrings back, I had lost one, so had gone back to Keith Walter, who had made them up from a broken diamond ring of my mother's back in 1996.
The Insurance Co gave their blessing for a match to be made , although they are quite valuable and I had worn them constantly since 1996 the sentimental value far outweighs the monetary value
Now they are back where they belong :)
