Mists and Mountains

Dawn today was spectacular, but I was disappointed with my efforts to capture the effect on camera. The morning turned to rain, and although there was some sunshine toward the middle of the afternoon, by 4:30 the landscape was covered in mist, as seen in this shot of the 'Lonesome Pine' - featured here exactly one year ago - near Blairdaff.

In the field to the left, this year's crop of potatoes - the foliage now gone - awaits harvest.
