Nantwich on the Shropshire Union Canal
'Going Going Gone' at Bridge 92, Nantwich Basin.
Every 4 years all canal boats have to have a 'Boat Safety Check' mainly to check fuel, gas, ventilation etc are all in a safe state. Its purpose is to help minimise the risk of boat fires, explosions, or pollution harming boaters and visitors to the inland waterways. I had my boat examined today and apart from a couple of minor wear and tear faults (which I managed to fix while the examiner was on board) I was given a clean bill of health.
