Not much went right today to be honest. The biggest problem as usual was the metalworkers. We told them at the outset that the plumber would be there Thursday and their sink unit needed to be on site Thursday am at the latest.

They actually told us yesterday it would be there. When we rang for an ETA today it became apparent they hadn't even started making it.

None of the metalwork will arrive until Saturday - and I'm not convinced it'll all be there then though that's what they're saying. On top of that deliveries that we paid extra to have as "next day" didn't Rrive either

Fortunately the rest of our team, like Bill whose company have been doing our decorating for about ten years, are great and have managed to pull most things together so the shop will look like a shop on Monday

Tonight Ant and I are going for a curry and a couple of well earned drinks!
