Early Conkers

With horse-chestnut trees dropping their conkers,
Little children go practically bonkers.
But, no ifs or buts,
The bigger the nuts,
The more likely they'll christen 'em stonkers.

These couldn't justify the name 'stonkers' but, small though they are, they are perfectly formed.

So, cough's beginning to ease, but not before it's done its worst: went to the doctor today and she confirmed I have a cracked rib! So, no line-dancing again tonight. But at least now I have some stronger pain-killers.
