The British legacy

After landing, a fellow crew member and I hopped into a car and drove into central Mumbai to explore. We got out at Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly called the Victoria Terminus ) and walked from there to the Gateway of India, both examples of iconic architecture built during the British Raj.
We also absorbed the organised chaos and humidity of the city, before catching up with a friend in the Taj Mahal Palace.
