Moules rivière

Today, the narrowboat we're buying had its pre-purchase survey. It went well; the boat is sound. The boat was lifted out of the water at Westview Marina in Earith. I was surprised to see that the bottom was covered in molluscs. Not barnacles, of course, but freshwater mussels. The photo shows the bottom of the boat. The lumpy blobs are the mussels. The results of the survey mean we're buying a boat.
