Clear Skies, Open Eyes

Today was another of those days when the skies were grey, or wet and grey (!) until midway through the afternoon when suddenly it seemed they cleared, and there was blue as far as the eye could see (well almost).

And then, unlike some recent days, there were aircraft leaving trails in the sky showing where they had been. My thoughts turned to the fact that the aircraft had been flying across the sky each day, but it was only when the clouds cleared that their passage became obvious.

So often in life we don't see all the things that go on day after day, until one day the clouds clear and, as it were, our eyes are opened! Little and big things that we had previously not noticed are happening all around us.

Enough musing! In case you wanted to know, and even if you didn't, this was an Airbus A330 of Brussels Airlines on a flight from Brussels to Washington.
