Bridge of Cally

Lovely place, beautiful scone with cream, excellent Cullen Skink for dinner followed by the most filling pasta fish with meatballs. All interrupted by the man on the next table watching the football on his iPad or similar.

I mean to say, I know the national team had a match but to watching at your table in an expensive restaurant?? It was very nearly broken over his head by my dining companion but fortunately we were nearly finished when it started getting loud so we retired to the lounge.

He wasn't young either. Wondered aloud at what the etiquette of such a situation might be.... think that's when the suggestion was made of breaking his screen!!
