It is Friday

Another great night at Burgundy's. Tonight it was John Ellis on keyboards and Robin Sunflower on mouth-organ - both are such virtuosos and I almost think that their instruments are an extension of their hands.

There are 2 sketches here. John on the left was the easier to capture as he was so focussed on his playing and I very much enjoyed sketching him.

The one on the right - I need to explain!. Robin sings and plays his mouth-organ. The upper sketch was the beginning .....but then he took up a totally different posture! I was fascinated by his hands that joined up in the most incredible positions around the mouth - organ - hence the lower half.....and that is how it all happened.

A much better turn out and they entertained us so well with 3 encores!
