The harvest moon

Today day 4 of my vacation I slept in once again and relaxed at home. I got out for a quite walk in the park in the afternoon as there was not many people there . I got many shots and sat but by the dock and took some test shots..

Tonight I went out at moon rise, I wanted to capture the harvest moon as it rose in the sky. I did however run into haze on the horizon and was not able to see it right away. I have taken other shots but I was trying to show the size of the moon in the sky. If you look closely you can see the building at the bottom of the photo.

I would like to thank the one's who checked out my photos yesterday with the photo contest however , this contest is not about how good your photo is but it is more how many friends can you get to like the photo. Anyway I will keep you posted how I do.
