Culture Shock

Everthing is shut in France on a sunday and there is till early closing day too... both weekends we were there we got caught out because it was so ingrained in all our thinkings that we can get whatever we want at whatever time we want ...


I think , the inconvenience produced by closing the shops far outweighed by the quiet streets the feeling of a rest day and general feeling for a quality of life not ruled by commerce ...




BUT I did love going today to get much needed necessary supplies... that and snoozing, as we arrived home very late last night and the cool weather only 23C

starting backloading but kept getting interrupted ...
