.. a Little

A busy day - well, once Toots had finished getting her hair hoovered! I waited patiently in the Drill Hall in Dalmeny St - didn't know there was such a place. And very fine it is too (and the hair!). Anyway, then it was on the aff - first stop Ken Currie at the Portrait Gallery, then Henderson's for the bowl of soup, and the Botanics to see Franz West (above), which was mostly a load of old nonsense apart from the nudey pictures in the basement. Then on to meet up with the lovely Donald at his pottery in Dalry Rd and have a cup of tea.
Later, a call in at the Cameo Bar, before a nosh at TukTuk and I was about to call it a day but was whistled up for the Click Clack club and I'm so glad I went. Yeah! The second act was WAHWAH, the current band of Edinburgh 'guitar legend' Taj Wyzgowski, with Nico Bruce (nephew of Jack!!!) on bass, and Cat Myres on drums. Just superb. Real bloody music! Guitar solos!! Guitar solos!!!!!! And a nae bad singer either, neither!
