Peterhouse Pump

This early Victorian pump stands outside the wall of Peterhouse Hall, the only building that has survived the 13th century and which has been extensively repaired and restored. There were no maker's markings on the pump and nobody I spoke to seemed to know exactly how old it was. Once again our weather forecast is wrong and it is a beautiful sunny day at the moment.
