Another ancient bridge. This one is short. One arch short of a crossing in fact. It used to go all the way across the Rhone but doesn't any longer.
The bridge was built in the 12th Century and damaged in the Siege of Avignon in the 13th century. In the 17th century a catastrophic flood swept away all but four of the arches (there were 22 originally). Here are two of them.
