Row,row,row the boat.

This little blue boat is still sitting on the canal entrance in Dingwall. I noticed that it had buckets in it so wonder if the person goes out to collect cockles or worms for fishing ?
The sandy banks were becoming visible as the tide was going out. There were plenty of birds settling down to feed including oyster catchers, redshanks, black headed gulls, mute swans, teal and a curlew just the other side of the boat pecking through the mud. In the trees, covered in berries elder and rowan, robins, gold finches, chaffinch and sparrows perched. More wagtails hopped along the mown grass.
It's a popular place for dog walkers and a variety of dog owners passed me by. One stopped for a natter with his 5 year old collie. He was interested my camera wanting to buy one himself and was hoping to attend a free digital camera workshop in Inverness.
Not a bad day quite abit of sun, now blustery and cloudy.
Have a good weekend everyone :)
