Found in Closet

This is one of my sister's left behinds.
When I'd visit her it was the first thing I'd see on the entry way wall.

I miss the apartment, but not the feeling of unwelcome from the painting.
She was (still is) my hero and I hope to be like her in many ways when I decide to act my age. Not going to HAPPEN*

Anyway, the painting always worried me because it seemed a dark greeting when you first walked in.

Sister loved it.
Still to this day I wonder why she's not carried it back to Holland yet.

Her style is "Posh and Chic "_",
On a visit to Holland she worded this thought to me as her child ran past us headed in the direction of danger.
I told her yeah, yeah get your kid.
She went after him (like only a mother can) voice raised telling him to "STOP RIGHT THERE!!!
I've never seen a kid freeze so quickly.
Posh and Chic?
I don't think so;-)

I'm unsure when their next vacation to California will be.
But I'll be asking what shall we do with the painting?

I've spotted a reason to find the painting interesting.
Red is my favorite color?

I just may keep it, left in the closet.

Our Parents tell us I'm the older of the two.
