Today, the entire family joined forces to do yardwork. The backyard is now looking somewhat presentable, though we have yet to plant all the flowers. At least all the woodchips are in.

Taking a break from weed-whacking, I spied the unknown purple flowers that Dad swore he would tear out of the garden last year, and decided I would take a picture before he carried out the threat...
