Refreshing Liquid

A morning workshop at the campus Faculty Innovation Center (FIC) was the main event on my schedule today. The workshop was all about the update with Blackboard which is the program the college uses as its platform for distance education. So the workshop was for faculty who are currently teaching online or hybrid classes.

The weather has cooled considerably here, but we decided it was a lovely afternoon to spend some time in the pool. So that's exactly what we did. The photo was a capture of our relaxing and refreshing dip in the pool.

Tomorrow morning at 10:00 is the memorial celebration for our friend Stephanie, who died just a week ago from complications caused by a brain tumor. She was 56 and we've known her since she was 18. This celebration will be a huge reunion and it's sure to stir every emotion possible. After the celebration a lunch will be enjoyed by all who have the time to stay and linger.
