Aheron river springs: The gates of Underworld

Ancient Greeks believed that here were the gates of Underworld.

It is a place for camping, canoe and rafting activities. We had the chance for a quiet rafting, not anything extreme, but it was very impressive.

I walked in the river to take this picture. After two minutes I could not feel my feet. The water is extremely cold.
