General Merchant

Today was all go! It started with swimming first thing followed by the weekly shop, visiting neighbours, taking Ollie for a good long walk, then making a huge pile of sandwiches.

The sandwiches were for the dance this evening - not just the usual get together in the local school with a pile of CDs, this was a proper dance with a live traditional dance band called Aff The Kuff. We danced from 8 till nearly midnight, with a decent tea break and raffle part way through. Great fun but exhausting - just hope I don't have to do anything strenuous tomorrow!

This is Shearer's - a wonderful shop in Kirkwall, which I have blipped several times before - and is now one of the outlets for the local goose meat.
