Encounter in the mist
Although we left Moreton in bright sunshine this morning, by the time we reached the moor we were in thick mist.
As we climbed up to Hookney Tor we were suddenly confronted by these large highlanders looming out of the mist and blocking the way, although its true to say, that it was Jinxy who they were watching. He was head down following his nose as usual and seemingly oblivious of them and he had to be brought to heel while we made our way around them.
In the mist they are quite spooky and they made no sound, just standing there watching us. They were still there on our return but no drama and its wonderful to see them in these surroundings. They look good in "Large"
