Pre-march Preparation

After attending an organ recital in Canongate Kirk we were advised to depart swiftly and keep to the pavements as the SDL march was imminent. Evidence of this was all around in the form of a heavy police presence - two in every single court and pend and spaced along the pavements. Despite this superabundance of Hi-vis the atmosphere was friendly.

We escaped before the march, collected Miss Flum and drove for an overnight stay near Haydock.
