Peace, Love, and Ice Cream

Stopped at the Ben and Jerry's factory in Waterbury on the way home from Vermont. Photos weren't allowed for most of the tour, but I found this peace post outside. It says "may peace prevail on earth" in 4 different languages. That's one of the things I love most about Ben and Jerry's is their social and environmental consciousness. (Well, ok, large chunks of cookie dough, chocolate fish, fudge swirls, and clever flavor names are up there too...) Ben and Jerry's is a corporation--and a highly successful one at that--that gives people and the environment the same priority as making a profit.
