my first spider

Well, my first close up, though it has been cropped quite a  bit.

I stepped out of the front door this morning and noticed a neighbour's hedge covered with glistening spider's webs. 

A look in our hedge and flower borders later revealed more webs PLUS spiders. Needed to get the rarely used tripod out for this but think it was worth the effort.

Healthy stir fry on the menu tonight and after my bravery with the spiders I think a glass of wine too.
