Blue - Winged Teal

Was at work this morning so was keeping my fingers crossed that the rare ducks that were on one of the local nature reserves were seen and stayed for me to go see them. I had seen one many years ago in Derbyshire  , but for 3 to turn up together is a very good record. These ducks normally live in America

Thankfully they were still around so after work dashed over to the other side of the city to see them . Upon arrival they were down the far end of the lake in the edge of the reeds, later they obliged and flew down the end where we were able to get very good views.
