Afternoon tea in Hemsley

I had a rough nights sleep. Since my sicky big my tum has been all over the place and last night I had awful acid. So today I was careful with what I ate.

Kev and I went to see my lovely friends new sweet shop in Helmsley North Yorkshire. It's a lovely traditional sweet shop in a beautiful little town. The shops there are so quaint. Lynn is my friend who I met on flickr and who introduced me to blip. A great friend.

We bought lots of sweets. Turkish delight, Spanish gold, assorted flavours of fudge and some extreme sour sweets that according to Lynn burn your mouth. I can tell you now that I won't be trying them. They are for Kev as he likes sours.

We had afternoon tea which consisted of a lovely ham sandwich, sausage roll, scone with all the bits, a piece of cake and a pastry. Kev had chips with his. I just had the sandwich and scone. I brought the rest home with me.

The weather has been lovely today really warm. I hope it's like it again tomorrow.

Good thing that happened today - Apart from going to Helmsley I haven't had any acid.
