Dad at Dovedale
Mum, Dad and I decided spontaneously to visit the Peak District for the day. We walked around Bakewell, and then walked to the ridge of Mam Tor. Unfortunately, being in the middle of a cloud stopped us from seeing... well... anything. We still had a lot of fun, though!
Luckily the cloud cleared by the afternoon , ready for a long walk along the river at Dovedale. Dad and I then climbed to the top of the mountain very large hill next to the river. Here is Dad, at the rocky outcrop at the top of the "hill". The views were incredible. The sun made it even more special. Cue scrambling down the non-footpathed side of the hill, just to get down faster. It was so good to get some fresh air and exercise.
