Autumn Leaves

Although the weather was warm today, the sun was sporadic. We managed to get out for coffee this morning, then lunch in the garden. This afternoon we went to the garden centre so Ann could buy something to keep going through the autumn. She’s very good in the garden at keeping it flowering and colourful all year long.

I made creamy carrot and parsnip soup for tea, very autumnal.

I noticed these feathers amongst the fallen leaves in the garden this morning, not sure what bird they’re from, but I liked the contrast of colours.
