The other end.......

The other week I blipped this and this week I'm blipping the other end.

Yes - another trip to Slimbridge today to visit dad and a nice visit it was too. First I missed the bus to Stroud so had an hour to kill in Cheltenham - I ended up buying a rather nice bowl in my favourite charity shop and I'll collect that on Monday.

Then off to Stroud for an hour of pottering - an abacus bought, a nice ornamental thingy and a little jug - metal type to be ascertained later. The plan with the jug is to dunk it in some liver of sulphur to give it a bit of age - I've not used the stuff before so it should be interesting. I will be doing that in the garage as I'd rather not stink the house out.

Anyway, then on over to Slimbridge for a few hours of nattering and then back home by 8pm.

My tv is dying I think - everyone is green.............
