Engagement Brunch

My painting mates threw an engagement bunch for us this morning. It was a smashing event with old friends, family and fantastic food. They had the party at the beautiful house & garden at the home of the owners of our the painting studio. The studio is over their garage with windows overlooking their beautiful home and enchanting yard and pool. The weather was fantastic and T and I were more than touched.

My nephew G wove his magic and gave the toast using an iPad with remarks from dear dear family and friends with words of his own. Two beloved blippers, Kendall & jkj10, shared sentiments too!! Our eyes were not dry as you can imagine. Included also were video wishes from our K, in the far north of Sweden.

We're home now, T having a crisp glass of wine and me a Newcastle Brown Ale out on the piazza,, smiling and looking forward to reading our cards and basking in the glow from the day. We are very, very lucky.
