The Bells

Had the opportunity to go up the tower of the local church today. Went onto the roof and got some great photos of the village (which will be posted on flickr eventually), but it was the bells that I liked most. The girls had a go at ringing one of them and youngest thought it was great when she was lifted off her feet and she could swing on the bell rope like the monks in that advert - well not quite that high but given half a chance she would have been in the rafters!
