Fat Dads On Bikes...

Sorry boys... you were trumped by a Highland Coo!

Today I went to give some support to the boys on one of their training runs. They're on day 3... 100 miles, five days running. I dare say that's an exercise in letting them know what they need to be doing in terms of training before April comes round. I'm not sure scrap that, I'm absolutely sure that I couldn't wouldn't be doing that ever again! I did the Rob Roy Challenge back in 2006 not that it's even close to cycling for millions of miles and I swore I'd never do anything so utterly ridiculous heart warming ever again! I do take my hat off to anyone who has that level of stupidity commitment!

I'm not sure they should be getting used to lunch from M&S though... I don't think they've made it to Spain as yet although I'm sure there is one in Gibraltar. By then I suspect they may need detox... by the sounds of things, France is going to involve a LOT of cheese!!

There's more of the day here... unfortunately the light was pretty flat most of the day so I spent a lot of time fannying around with settings and not getting exactly the results I wanted. I think perhaps I'm going to have to learn how to use my camera properly. I wanted to try a long exposure thingy with water... you know when it goes all smokey and blurred... I can do that at night but it would appear that I can't do it in daylight! Doh! I'll get round to looking it up and fannying some more.

So after all their hard work cycling all those miles, I've blipped a Highland Coo! I can't help it. You know when you have loads of blips to choose from it doesn't seem to be happening much lately and then one just leaps out at you? I also have about five pics of two sheep and I'd really like to make a cartoon out of them but I have no idea how... is there an app for that?!

Well done boys... I was impressed by the determined ease with which you kicked the ass of all of those hills, all of that rubbish weather and all of those miles. Go Team FDOB!!

P.S. I shall paint the road to Morocco for you!
