Aye!

A lazy start, a quick dash to the massive Independence rally, off for a late lunch at my favourite café, a wee wander, home, out again to a friend's birthday party.

The rally was massive - thousands and thousands and even more thousands. More flags worn as capes than I've ever seen, even at international rugby matches. I took dozens of photos and there were some very amusing t shirts. What I didn't expect was representatives from other independence movements across Europe - from Catalunya, Flanders, Sardinia, Sicily, Venice (great flags!) and South Tyrol. I hoped to meet a few from Québec but didn't see anyone. It was the most positive rally I've been at for ages.

These two are my blip for those big smiles. I went in to get a photo of the woman and her t shirt but he looked so interesting as well. At first they looked a little unsure, a little grumpy and then I said "say yes!" and out came those fabulous smiles.
