Sober for October - Day 3
Yesterday I did what even a month ago seemed impossible: I cycled 30 miles non-stop (I'm sure a 10 minute sandwich & apple pause doesn't count as a stop).
I need one of those handlebar map holder things. I mapped the route on Runkeeper but it didn't stay in my head. I still managed St Boswells, Scott's View, Brotherston Hill and Smailholm Tower, but missed the Mellerstain House loop.
I feel really rather marvellous.
Today will be about shifting a ton of topsoil into raised beds. My poor ribs! I shall think of the kale. And spinach. And...
