Who needs the Tour of Britain when you have Porto-velo?! I met this group mustering for an early morning 60 mile spin on this warm sunny morning. I spoke with their founder Andrew Mylne , who was happy for me to take this informal blip of the group. More information can be found at www.porto-velo.com . They look after each other on the ride but do not have a firm policy of always travelling at the pace of the slowest. The popularity of cycling has been mirrored by an increase in the attendance on these Sunday morning rides. If I am to join them I will need a road bike as my mountain one would be a real struggle for me to keep up with this energetic peleton!
