Black rhino

We spent some time at the Taronga Western Plains zoo in Dubbo today. It was a beautiful day for it, warm but with a light breeze that kept us comfortable.
I'm always a bit sad when I see these animals, especially the African ones. I think because I've seen them in the wild and know what they are missing out on. But in saying this, the animals appeared well cared for and it seemed as if great care and thought was taken in planning their environments and routines.
Looking forward to the real thing in May next year :)

On the running front, I ran 4 minute intervals this evening. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I got pneumonia so I'm still quite nervous about getting sick again, but so far so good.
