time out

Grandson Seth and I are having a few days together at a very tropical resort in Cairns before I head back to Perth.
It's an enormous place spread over acres with three pools, gardens, bridges over billabongs and HEAVING with kids and families on school hols.
Today S has been in one or other of the pools for several hours making friends, bobbing around and vanishing into caves beneath waterfalls.

We have an idea for each day (movie, museum, and tomorrow evening a 'night zoo' wander) plonked in more hours of immersion. For me a book/kindle and for junior the pool!
