The Thistle Slayers

Gorgeous morning at Grabine, defrosting in the sun, and playing at the water's edge.

My husband taught the children how to decapitate weeds with a stick, a task they took to with great gusto.

They spent a good half hour defeating a particularly vigorous thistle.
