Time Travel

... going back a nostalgic 55 years to this bus that went out of service in 1958. It led a procession of vintage No. 93s that passed through the village this morning. We are used to seeing the modern No. 93 double-decker that travels the return trip from Plymouth to Dartmouth, via Kingsbridge, several times a day. But, today, this coach took Mr PP back to his childhood. He may well have travelled on this very vehicle as a little boy. Isn't it a beautiful shape!

(Mind you nostalgia stops here, viewing the vehicle from the outside. Back in the '50s and '60s buses always made me travel-sick. As a passenger, give me a modern well-sprung bus with big windows any time. Or, better still, a car or train!)
