It's freezing in UB as the snow caught in the floodlight indicates. It is the only proof I have as the rest of the city is in denial. The sprinklers are on in the square's gardens creating circles of frost, women are in stockings and stilettos and men in thongs ( flip flops for you non- Aussie readers) . Perhaps winter does not officially start here until it's -20.
