Neuschwanstein Castle

I'd been so excited to see this castle - and I'm glad to say it lived up to it's expectations! There's also a magnificent waterfall underneath the Marienbridge from where this photo was taken - as it had been raining pretty heavily it was in full flow - and what a walk down the gorge along it's length! Have to say that this was my favourite day of the holiday :)
